Sofas & Sectionals

Sofas, sectionals, loveseats and sleeper sofas in fabric, velvet and leather-look upholstery.

How to choose a sofa

Measure the room and the way in. Measure the wall the sofa will sit against, then the doors, hallways and stairs it has to pass through. A sofa that fits the room but not the doorway is the most common return.

Seat depth. A shallow seat suits upright sitting; a deep seat suits lounging and is better for tall people. Check the seat depth, not just the overall depth.

Sectional or sofa. A sectional fills a corner and seats more people, but it fixes the layout of the room. Check whether the chaise can sit on either side if your room might change.

Upholstery. Tightly woven fabrics and performance fabrics stand up to children and pets better than loose weaves or velvet.
