Choosing a coffee table
Length. A coffee table about two thirds the length of the sofa looks right and leaves room to walk around it.
Height. The top should sit level with the sofa seat or an inch or two lower.
Distance. Leave around 16 to 18 inches between the sofa and the table - close enough to reach, far enough for legs.
